Asserma.

Or "Dried by fire" in Provençal.

Maison Asserma is a small pottery and ceramics manufacture, located in Aix-en-Provence, southern France.

Each piece is unique and created using different techniques such as wheel throwing, coil construction, slab building or pinching.
Either smooth or textured, the clay used is usually stoneware from Burgundy or Normandy. On rare occasions will it come from other places in Europe.

Each object is handmade.
From tableware, such as plates, bowls, cups or tea-pots, to vases or lampshades, they are designed for every part of the house.

The shape, the glaze colour or the type of clay chosen are all influenced by personal trips and experiences, nature and of course the Provence region and the mediterranean sea.
